I'm thinking of going to QPC for the first time this summer and would love to hear tales of previous camps from those of you who've been.

Re: QPC Virgin
Mon, January 5, 2004 - 12:47 AMOK. I was a QPC virgin a couple of years ago. I have only been to one camp as I live in the states... But after meeting a very charming QPC'er at the Beltaine camp in TN I was convinced it would be a great time. And it was. I arrived to Wales/England without my bags which ended up being delivered to the camp in Dorset! Very funny stuff that!
Everyone was so open and caring and really genuinely lovely. I made a ton of friends who I will cherish forever. Some have even come to visit for faerie camps in the states. But it was a great gathering with beauty-full people and good food and ritual and drums and singing. The year I came we did an impromptu record of QPC camp songs which I listen to a lot and feel the energy I got from the camp. My intention is to attend both of them this next year as I have quit my job to run off with the faeries! hehe... So Gav, you should definitely attend a gathering of QPC! I somehow doubt you would come away disappointed! -

Re: QPC Virgin
Fri, January 9, 2004 - 5:01 AMYeah, I've definitely gotta go if I can. As well as the recommendations of the faerie folk in this tribe, I know quite a few of the London-based QPCers through other networks.
Why not join the qpc yahoogroup and find out more:
groups.yahoo.com/group/qpc/
Also, as I think Sparkly might be quite involved in plans for the next camp, I'm waiting for him to tell us more about it here...

Re: QPC Virgin
Wed, February 18, 2004 - 4:03 AMSorry folks.. Not looked at posts here for a while and Gavin asked me to post more about the plans for QPC - well as far as I know right now there are two camps happening.. Beltane camp which is in Wales (tbc) 12-16 May and the summer camp is in Dorset from 13-23 August.
But as Gavin says probably best to join the e-group groups.yahoo.com/group/qpc
You can also receive a copy of our 'zine the Pink Pumpkin - email me your postal address and I wil pass it on to the keeper of the mailing list...
I cannot begin to describe how life changing QPC has been for me, and probably the best thing to do is come along...
Love and spring steps,
Sparkly xxx -
